ABOUT US
“Custom Rock Creations, Llc.” was established at the beginning 2017. It developed from the
culmination of business experiences of Douglas J. Holt and his son and partner Clint E. Brenenstall
and is at the forefront of St. George’s newest trend in landscape design: Outdoor Kitchens, Patios,
and Rock Water Features.
Doug’s expertise developed over thirty years ago when he started a construction, general
contracting, and landscape company in St. George, Utah. The company then expanded into the field
of sod production upon the purchase of a sod farm and evolved into a family run business. It became
a wonderful environment for raising Doug’s young children. It was also ideal for nurturing the seeds
of landscape creativity in Clint. Clint had a strong desire to be involved from a very young age. As a
small boy he would sit on his father’s lap and together they would operate a skid loader, and other
various types of equipment. It was not long before Clint became an integral member of the family
business.
Doug’s business further expanded into 3-H Landscape Products specializing in both the mining and
sales of decorative rock of many colors, sizes, and varieties, as well as specialty mulches, and
topsoil’s. The company also pioneered in the field of custom rock flagpoles boulders, rock signs, rock
water features and rock water fountains among many other things. Unfortunately, when the
recession of 2008 hit, the business found it necessary to close it doors.
In 2001 Clint branched out and began his own yard maintenance business, which quickly grew into a
full service landscaping company operating up until the end of 2016. As Clint’s business matured it
became well known for it’s block retaining walls, custom concrete patios, custom water features,
and outdoor lighting designs.
Now Doug and Clint have joined forces to combine their talents focusing on the most successful
aspects of their businesses into one all encompassing company, “Custom Rock Creations, Llc”.
